Applying for a place in Reception Class

Holy Saviour is an increasingly popular choice for parents in our local area and demand for places at our school is at its highest.  This website is packed with information about our school, but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.  In November we normally hold an open afternoon for prospective parents to come and see our lovely school in action, however, due to the current COVID19 situation please contact school and an appointment can be arranged with Mrs Baxter, the Headteacher for after the end of the school day.

All applications for school places should be completed online.  The link you need to complete your application is below.

As a Catholic school, priority for school places is given to Baptised Catholic children.  (Our full Admission Policy can be viewed below for further details on our admission criteria).  If your child has been Baptised into the Catholic Church, you must provide us with a Baptismal certificate at the time of applying (even if Holy Saviour is not your first choice of school) so that your child will be ranked accordingly.  If proof of Baptism is not received by the close of online applications, your child will be ranked alongside other non-Catholic applicants.  As well as completing the online application form, you must also complete a SIF (Supplementary Information Form) and return this to our school along with proof of Baptism.

If you need any support in completing your application, please contact the school office who will be happy to help.

Our school is currently 'full' with 210 pupils on roll.  We have 7 classes in our school with 30 places in each class.  There are currently waiting lists for most year groups.   If you are looking for a place for your child at Holy Saviour, please contact the school office as on occasion, pupils leave the area and places do become available.  Should a place be unavailable in your child's year group, the office staff will be able to advise you of your options including how to appeal for a school place.   The link below provides further detail about applying for a school place for other year groups in school.
