Please find below a number of weekly learning packs that your child can do at home, in addition to this here are some useful websites for your child to use.  Please note that passwords have been sent home for children to access Times Tables Rockstar, Purple Mash and Bug Club.




Bitesize daily run lessons for Year 5 from Monday to Friday, these include activities to do as well.  Each week I will post a learning pack that will support the bitesize Maths and English lessons.

The link below is for parents, it provides useful tips and activities to support learning in Maths.

Children can also access Numbots from the Timestables Rockstar platform.  Numbots is also good for developing and practicing basic number skills for example number bonds and partitioning.



There is a weekly programme of lessons for English that include free clips for children to watch or read.  This will be posted at the beginning of every week.

The following websites provide stimulus to support creative writing.





Bug club    







The following website offers daily lessons based on a theme of the week.  It is fun outdoor learning and although is Science based it covers other subjects including Art and English.  Parents will need to register to access the activities but it is free to do so.

Free bikeability sessions
Unfortunately owing to current Covid 19 restrictions and school closure many (especially) Year 6 pupils have missed out on their Bikeability cycle training.
I am delighted to invite any Year 5, 6 or 7 pupils to our free summer holiday sessions. Level 1 & 2 will be delivered together with Level 1 first in the morning followed immediately by Level 2 which will run over 2 consecutive day after which on the 2nd afternoon Level 3 will be on offer to those wishing to advance.
Your own equipment will be required; we are not able to lend any equipment and cycle must be in working order. This year owing to Covid conditions we are not able to handle equipment.
