Morning Year 2!
Here is some learning for you to complete whilst school is closed today due to the snow.
Phonics - Think about words containing the suffix 'ful' or 'less.' Generate a word bank and write 2 sentences using 'ful' and 2 using 'less'

Literacy - Look out of your window and describe what you can see using noun phrases. E.g. On this snowy day I can see thick, powdery snow...
Maths - Solving addition and subtraction problems in the context of measure. Draw a bar model to help you.
Art - Create a picture in the style of the artist Paul Cezanne.
Handwriting - Continue to practice the washing line join. Practice joining an o to a d.
Don't forget to complete your homework, read your home reading and/or library book, practice your spellings and have a go at designing a super hero for our Brilliant Book Award.
